DescriptionECHO H8™ Acoustic BarrierThe Echo Barrier H8™ is a temporary portable acoustic barrier that has been designed to fit on one standard 3.5m (12ft) fence panel making it ideal to cover large areas quickly. It has a very good noise reduction and absorption. It is lightweight, durable and water, fire and temperature resistant. H8 acoustic barriers’ longer dimensions make them easier to install quickly, and they’re light enough that one person can handle each barrier. Your team can assemble a long fence of H8 units 70% faster than other sound reduction barriers.Due to their lightweight design and overlapping ability, 1 person is able to install each barrier in as little as 30 seconds and get solid results of up to 37dB of noise reduction. The 3 layer makeup of the barrier allows for up to 87% noise absorption as well as weather proofing. A durable, waterproof, front facing PVC outer layer helps to protect the exposed side of the barrier from wet weather as well as helping in reducing sound. The main body of the barrier, the lightweight, highly noise-absorbent composite material does the majority of the heavy lifting in reducing as much noise as possible. A waterproof membrane/mesh completes the panel on the inner side, allowing noise to pass through and into the central composite layer, but keeps any excess water out.The H8 barrier is frost resistant to BS EN 60068/2/1:2007, water resistant to BS EN 60529:1992 and also fire resistant to ASTM E84(BS7837-1996) meaning it can be used safely around any cutting and grinding tools.
