DescriptionEcho Barrier CS™ Cutting Station “Compact”The Echo Barrier CS™ Cutting Station “Compact” is a temporary portable acoustic enclosure that can be erected with ease to contain noise from cutting activities. Its innovative design offers superior noise reduction and absorption from all directions without compromising the process for cutting panels, timbers, tiles, tubes or beams of any length. It is ideal for use indoors or next to high rise structures. The viewing window provides visibility for communication and safe working. The simple, flexible and effective design comes with all the components required to prevent noise from bouncing off ceilings and walls, whilst containing dust, debris and fumes. The “Compact™” is smaller in size than the CS Cutting Station™.The CS Cutting Station™ uses a special, super absorbent foam that eliminates almost 100% of sound at 400-500Hz, and reduces noise across a wide range of frequencies. Noise is reduced by up to 40dB, which is more than 99% of sound produced by cutting tools at high frequencies. It absorbs so much noise that you can place a cutting station in the work area without worrying about noise pollution.The cutting station is fire resistant to ASTM E84(BS7837-1996) and can be used safely around any cutting and grinding tools. It is also frost resistant to BS EN 60068/2/1:2007, and water resistant to BS EN 60529:1992.
