Dyno test show a minimum 6% power increase, with the mid range showing significant improvement in the ability of the saw when actually in the cut. please note carefully instructions from Egan performance saws ”this pipe is compatiable with all ms261 saws with a manually adjustable carb, and V3 m-trounced saws. V1 and V2 saws can lead to a lean seizure of the saw as early mtronic saws won’t compensate with increased fuel flow. If you are unsure, please use the pictures of the stickers you need to consult, loaded on the product images. the carb will need adjusting on manual carb models since installed, and V3 saws will need to learn the new parameters of operation.
